    In the knowledge-based economy, the technology is very important intangible asset. It is especially true for those small and medium sized enterprises that do not possess significant resources. In order to innovate or enhance the enterprise"s technology, open innovation could be an answer. Open Innovation, an opposite of closed innovation, is often used as a tool in gaining useful resources. University-Industry Cooperation and regionally operated so called, Technopark is most commonly used in industry, academic, and R&D cooperation.
    This Study reviews and compare two different evaluation models of government supported R&D organizations: University-Industry Cooperation, Technopark. This Study is necessary to obtain overall insights of organizations and their performances. By comparing two different yet, similar in operations could provide the managerial implications to enhance the performances. This Study proposes the performance evaluation model and indexes of University-Industry Cooperation, and it suggests the comparative review of such based on the performance evaluation model of Technopark. University-Industry Cooperation"s performance evaluation model; when it is compared to the Technopark, lacks in leadership, strategy, and process related evaluation methods; therefore, it is difficult to analyze one"s performance accurately and should adapt or apply additional indexes.
