언어적 추론에서 동상의 역활(Ⅰ) = Rolls of Verbe in Linguistic Inference(Ⅰ)

국문 초록 (Abstract)

동사는 언어적 추론과정에서 핵심적인 역할을 하고 있으나 종류가 많고 문장중에서의 역할이 다양하기 때문에 동사를 연구하기 위해서는 일차적으로 동사를 분류하는 것이 필요하다. 이 연구는 Sommers(1959)의 이론에 의거하여 동사를 분류하는 것이 유용함을 보여준다.
동사의 종류와 그 의미를 분석하기 위하여 아동의 고빈도 어휘 중에서 명사 단어 20개와 동사 단어 95개를 선정하여 20×95개의 명사-동사 쌍을 제시하고 명사가 동사의 주어로서 적절한지지에 대하여 예/아니오로 평정하게 한 다음 그 결과를 명사 및 동사에 관하여 위계적 집락분석을 실시하였다.
명사의 위계적 집락분석의 결과는 대체로 존재론적 지식구조를 보여주고 있었으며, 동사들은 발생학적 지식을 기반으로 해서 분류된 명사유형들 중에서 어떤 유형을 주어로 취할 수 있는지에 의거해서 분류되고 있었다. 이 결과는 서술가능성의 평정이 동사와 명사의 의미를 적절하게 분류할 수 있다는 가능성을 보여주는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Above all, it is necessary to classily verbe's kind type for investigating the functions of verses, which have critical roles in linguistic inference. This study demonstrates that it is useful for us to categorize verbes according to the Sommers' theory(1959).
Twenty nouns and ninth five verses are selected carefully and presented to twenty eight subjects to judge whether each 20×95 noun-verbe pair is acceceptalbe in the point of predicability or not. Raw data, composed in 20×95 rectangular matrix, were submitted to the hirarchical clustering analysis by nouns and by verbes.
This analysis shows that nouns have a similar version of ontological knowledge structure, and verses are classified in the base of nouns structure. This results tell that rating of noun-verbs predictability could cross categorize noun by verde, and verde by noun mutually.
