嶺東地方의 地域中心都市 生活圈 體系硏究(Ⅲ) = The Study on the Regional Urban System in Yeong Dong Region

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines the spatial system of regional central place.
In general regional system has a multi-hierarchical spatial and functional linkage patterns. Centrality which is obtained on the ground of W.K.Davis's location quotient is used to analyse the hierarchical structure. Also, interview and questionary method is added to confine the sphere of wide area in Kang Nung city.
The sphere of Kang Nung city include the Yeong Dong region and the part of Yeong Seo region, which are Pyong Chang, Jeong Seon county and Tae Baek city. The hierarchical structure of Yeong Dong regional urban system is organized at 4 tier system, that Kang Nung at the top, Sokcho, Dong Hae, Tae Baek as a 2nd class, Sam Cheok 3rd class, and other central place functioned as a county's center are the 4th class. The hierarchical structure of Yong Dong region is not as like Christaller's central place system which is verified a rigid system.
