이슬람 금융의 국내 도입방안에 대한 고찰 = The Study on the Introduction of Islamic Finance in Korea

This study introduces the basic concepts of Islamic finance, and reviews the type of the products, and characteristics of Islamic finance, also examines the process of the development of Islamic finance. This paper investigates about the development of the Malaysian Islamic financial markets as well as the UK, France, Japan and other non-Islamic countries as case studies. In the case of the introduction of Islamic finance in Korea, It will happen the unexpected problems and issues as some side effects. In this context, We suggest some tips through this research. First, It is required deep understanding and interests about the Islamic finance through related symposium, and international cooperation, business partnership with leading Islamic financial institutions and so on. Second, It should be created in advance the favor conditions and systems that the Islamic financial products and institutions are available in Korea. Third, Professional manpower and education about Islamic finance is needed in order to operate Islamic financial instruments easily.
