아동·청소년을 대상으로 한 기본심리욕구 연구동향 = Analysis of Research Trends on Children and Adolescents Basic Psychological Needs

The purpose of this study is to investigate research trends in ‘Basic Psychological Needs’ (BPN) of children and adolescents and to explore their implications. This study analyzed 55 journal articles and theses which were written from 2008 to 2016. The study analyzed the articles by: year of publication, research topics, and research methods. The main results were as follows. Firstly, the research on children and adolescents’BPN started from 2008. It was found that, from 2014 the number of articles rapidly increased. Secondly, the majority of the research topics were related variable study, the following was scale development and program research. The sub-topics of related variable study were parent-related, psycho-social adjustment, and maladjustment factors. Thirdly, most of the subject was adolescent. The number of articles written on this topic was 38. The most frequently used methods were quantitative research by questionnaire. The variable ‘Basic Psychological Needs’ was used mainly as the mediator variable. Based on the findings, further studies are needed to develop the measurement for children and the program to increase child’s BPN.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 아동·청소년을 대상으로 한 기본심리욕구 관련 논문의 연구동향을 분석하고 시사점을 탐색하고자 하였다. 문헌분석을 위해 2008년부터 2016년 2월까지 국내 학위논문과 학술지에 수록된 논문 55편을 대상으로 연도별 추세(게재년도), 연구주제, 연구방법 동향을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 아동 · 청소년 기본심리욕구 관련 연구는 2008년부터 연구되기 시작하였으며 2014년에 급격히 증가하였다. 둘째, 연구주제는 관련변인 연구가 대부분을 차지하였고, 척도개발, 프로그램 연구 순으로 나타났다. 관련변인 연구의 하위 세부주제 분석 결과, 부모요인과 심리사회적응, 부적응요인에 대한 연구 순이었다. 셋째, 연구대상은 청소년 대상 연구가 38편으로 대부분을 차지하였다. 자료수집방법은 질문지 자료를 사용한 양적연구가 대부분이었으며, 기본심리욕구는 주로 매개변인으로 사용된 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 추후에는 아동을 대상으로 기본심리욕구 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발 연구와 아동용 척도개발 연구들이 수행되어야 할 필요성이 제기되었다.
