베트남에서의 한국어 교육 현황

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고에서는 베트남에서의 한국어 교육 현황과 한국 정부기관에서 시행하고 있는 교사 파견 프로그램을 소개하였다. 현재 베트남 내 12개 대학에서 한국어, 한국학을 전공 과정으로 개설하고 있었으며, 정규과정과 비정규과정을 통틀어 4,465 명 이상의 학생들이 한국어를 공부하고 있었다. 이들을 가르치는 교사는 123명으로 학사 학위자가 44.7%, 석사 학위자가 46.3%, 박사학위자가 9%였다. 한국 정부기관에서는 한국국제협력단, 한국국제교류재단, 한국학중앙연구원, 한국어세계화재단에서 각각 베트남에 봉사 단원, 교수 등을 파견하고 있었다. 조사를 통해 베트남에서는 1992년 이후 한국과 수교를 수립한 이후 지속적으로 한국어에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 한국 정부기관에서 파견하는 교사의 수는 수요에 비해 그 수가 적어 이는 향후 개선해야 할 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper introduced the current situation of Korean language education in Vietnam and the teach dispatch program under implementation by Korean government agencies. Currently 12 Universities opened Korean Studies and Korean language as major courses, and more than 4,465 students are studying Korean in the regular process as well as non-regular courses. The teachers for them are 123 persons, of whom 44.7% had a bachelor's degree, 46.3% master' s degree and 9% had doctor's degree. Korean government agencies has sent volunteers, professor, etc. through Korea International Cooperation Agency, Korea Foundation, Academy of Korean Studies, Korean Globalization Foundation. Through survey, it was proved the interest in Korean language is increasing in Vietnam since the establishment of diplomatic ties with South Korea in 1992. But the number of teachers which Korean government agencies dispatches are fewer than the demands, which should be improved in the future.
