청소년 성발달에 따른 자극추구성향과 음란매체 접촉경험 및 반응의 영향력 분석 = An Analysis of the sexual development, sensation seeking trait, and exposure to obscenity, the post-exposure reactions in Youth

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study were to investigate the effects of sexual development, sensation seeking trait, and exposure pornographical media, the post-exposure reactions of Korean middle school students. Gender differences between the influences are also examined. 603 adolescents were participated, the data were analyzed by statistical method such as Means (SD), hierarchical regression. The findings of the study showed; First, male adolescents with very frequently exposure to obscenity reported significantly higher levels of open sexual attitude, and sensation seeking trait. While female adolescents with very frequently exposure to obscenity reported significantly higher levels of open sexual attitude, rejection decision against sexually attracting, and sensation seeking trait. Second, the post-exposure negative reactions to obscenity in male adolescents was associated with higher levels of conservative sexual attitude, misconceptions about sexual abuse/assault, and sensation seeking trait. But the post-exposure negative reactions to obscenity in female adolescents was associated with higher levels of conservative sexual attitude, and rejection decision against sexually attracting. Third, the post-exposure positive reactions to obscenity in male adolescents was associated with lower levels of rejection decision against sexually attracting, awareness of gender equality, and with higher levels of sensation seeking trait. But the post-exposure positive reactions to obscenity in female adolescents was associated with higher levels of rejection decision against sexually attracting, and sensation seeking trait. Forth, the post-exposure impulsive reactions to obscenity in male adolescents was associated with lower levels of rejection decision against sexually attracting, awareness of gender equality, and with higher levels of misconceptions about sexual abuse/assault, sensation seeking trait. But the post-exposure impulsive reactions to obscenity in female adolescents was associated with higher levels of open sexual attitude, and misconceptions about sexual abuse/assault.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 음란매체 접촉경험 및 접촉 후 반응에 대한 자극추구성향과 청소년 성발달의 영향력을 성별에 따라 분석하고자 중학생 603명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 남자청소년은 개방적인 성태도를 보이고 자극추구적일수록 음란매체를 많이 접하고 여자청소년은 개방적인 성태도를 보이고 성적 자극에 단호히 거절하며 자극추구적일수록 음란매체를 많이 접하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 남자청소년은 보수적인 성태도를 지니고 성폭력에 대해 오인하고 있으며 자극추구적일수록 음란매체를 접한 뒤 부정적 반응을 보인 반면, 여자청소년은 보수적 성태도를 지니고 성적 자극에 단호히 거절할수록 부정적 반응을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 남자청소년은 성적 자극에 거절하지 못하고 양성평등의식이 낮으며 자극추구적일수록 음란매체를 접한 뒤 긍정적 반응을 보인데 반해 여자청소년은 성적 자극에 단호히 거절하며 자극추구적일수록 긍정적인 반응을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 남자청소년은 성적 자극에 거절하지 못하고 성폭력에 대해 오인하고 있으며 양성평등의식이 낮고 자극추구적일수록 음란매체를 접한 뒤 충동적 반응을 보인 반면, 여자청소년은 개방적인 성태도를 지니고 성폭력에 대해 오인하고 있을수록 충동적인 반응을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이로써 청소년의 성발달 이해와 성차에 따른 다른 접근 및 개입에 대해 논의하였다.
