가정환경이 유아의 정서능력에 미치는 영향 = How Home Environment Affects Young Children's Emotional Competence

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 가정환경이 유아의 정서능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 구조분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 유아의 정서능력은 어머니의 양육행동의 직접적인 영향을 받으며, 어머니의 긍정적 정서표현, 아버지의 긍정적 정서표현과 양육행동, 가정의 사회경제적 지위의 간접적인 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 아버지 변인이 유아의 정서능력에 미치는 간접적인 영향 경로에서 어머니 변인은 매개변인 역할을 하며, 가정의 사회경제적 지위가 유아의 정서능력에 미치는 간접적인 영향 경로에서는 어머니와 아버지 변인이 매개변인 역할을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이와 같은 잠재변인간의 직·간접적인 영향에 의하여 유아의 정서능력은 49%가 설명되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study investigates the relationship of young children's emotional competence to home environment variables (a mother's rearing behavior and emotional expression, a father's rearing behavior and emotional expression, and SES). Subjects for this study were 361 five-year-old children from public and private kindergartens in Chongju-si and Daejon-si, and their 722 parents (361 mothers and 361 fathers). Data were analyzed with LISREL, a statistical program for structural equation modeling, to test how well the hypothesized structural model fit the collected data. Results are as follows: a mother's rearing behavior had a direct effect on young children's emotional competence and a mother's emotional expression mediated by her rearing behavior had an indirect effect; a father's emotional expression and rearing behavior, as well as SES, had an indirect effect on young children's emotional competence.
