한국 여성의 놀이문화 : 가정주부의 놀이문화로서의 음악활동 Musical Activity as a Playing culture of housekeepers = Playing Culture of Korea Women

As a basic unit of the society, a home is not only the place to offer the peace of and to recover the emotional rest, but also is the way to society and the place where children acquire the sociality and there own personality. Man and wife, the center in a family, have a great influence on the member of family and society according to the degree of content in life.
Recently much attentions and approaches are paid to the leisure which accupies a part of houskeeper life cycle. Besides the necessity of leisure-culture is argued and various types of leisure-use are introduced.
In this thesis, the musical activity of housekeepers is studied to find out what influence it has on children, life with husband, and society.
The result as follows.
1.In the musical activity of housekeepers, 50% of them do it indoors, 26% outdoors especially in the musical groups or meetings, and 8% do not anything, which shows that music is not yet settled down as a leisure-culture.
2.In the types of music, 33% of them enjoy listening to the classical music and 24.8% listen to the popular songs.
3.In the time-length of musical activity, weekdays 59.7% of them have less than 1 hour a day and weekends 50% get less than 1 hour, which is most common in both cases.
4.The question with whom? is given.
In the case of [A] 71.4% answered they shared the musical activity with husband or the member of musical group or others. In the case of [B], 36.1% answered they had it alone. As a whole 26% enjoyed it by themselves.
5. In the barriers, 42.0% said the lack of time largely kept them from musical activity.
6. In the value, 64.7% said that value musical activity gives was the spiriture one.
7. To the question ; Why do you have musical activity ; 26.5% answered like this ; 'for the rest of soul and body', that is most common.
8. The motivation to make them have musical activity together with husband is through the same belief, said 63.6%.
9. To the question of difference between before and after the musical activity with husband, 32.5,% answered they had topics in common and that they had more time to talk together with husband. 25.0% responded it helped them with social life by making them know more people.
10. Given the question 'How much is it helpful for children after the musical activity?' ; 17.9% chose 'very much', 35.7% 'much' and 46.4% 'some'.
11. 42.9% stated it was profitable in that it gived many topics to share with children.
12. In the case of no muscial activity, women were often unsatisfied with the life. The main reason is that they are in lake of talking with husband, 52.4% pointed out.
13. 53.1% of housekeepers without any musical activity responded if they start it they would like to enter the musical group or meeting together with husband.
To draw conclusions from the above research, first, the musical avtivity as a leisure-culture gives social profits as well as rest and good pastime. Secondly, it has a great influence on the life with husband by joining the same activity. It also impoves the relationship with children through much more conversation. Thirdly, more groups for musical activity should be established.
By recognizing the importance of leisure-sharing in the man and wife, more studies should be done to show the active ways and adaptations of leisure-use.
