노인의 개인적 특성에 따른 범죄피해경험 및 두려움의 차이에 관한 연구 = The study on difference of experience and fear of crime victim by individual characteristics of the aged

국문 초록 (Abstract)

노인은 신체적 및 정신적인 면에서 범죄에 대처할 수 있는 능력이 떨어지므로 노인의 범죄피해경험에 대한 실증적인 조사를 통해서 경찰을 비롯한 형사사법기관과 지방자치단체 등에서는 보다 체계적인 노인의 범죄피해방지방안을 강구할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 노인의 범죄피해경험과 두려움에 영향을 미치는 개인적 특성요인이 무엇인지를 실증적으로 조사하였다.
본 연구의 조사결과로 도출된 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 남녀 성별에 따라서 범죄피해 직접피해와 범죄피해의 두려움에 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 노인들의 연령에 따라서 간접피해경험변수와 범죄피해의 두려움에 차이가 발견되었다. 셋째, 주거유형에 따라서 범죄피해두려움과 범죄피해횟수에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 넷째, 주거형태에 따라서 직접적인 범죄피해경험에서 차기가 발견되었다. 다섯째, 동거유형에 따라서 직접피해, 간접경험, 범죄피해두려움에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다.
이상의 결과에서 보듯이 노인의 성별, 연령, 주거유형이나 주거형태와 누구와 같이 사는가와 관련된 동거유형에 따라서 직접적인 범죄피해, 간접적인 범죄피해, 범죄피해의 두려움에서 일부 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있음이 확인되었는데, 이는 결국 노인들이 범죄피해에 대하여 취약하므로 노인들의 범죄피해를 줄이기 위해서는 형사정책적인 대책이 필요함을 시사하는 연구결과이다.

Average life from scientific development and life elevation etc. of modern society is long and society is trend that is being graying gradually accordingly, and this trend is expected to be continued forward. Regarding this trend, scientific research about old man began to appear in the 1940s as a scientific field and study of old man's social side was proceeded continuously in biologic, psychologic study in gerontology. In the case of such old man's social side study, that bring tendency focusing on old man's crime damage mainly of old man crime until present is true. This tendency has been extravagant Social welfare factor that threaten old man's welfare, and to remove grasping what such Social welfare factor is may be point that remove criminal damage.
Old man from country and local community as a social weak person protection it can be big region of interest of welfare policy that wish to go forward to welfare society must get right patronage. Therefore, to send safe society protecting old man who is our older person and parents from crime may be duty of country and local community, and older generation.
