大學建物의 建築設計過程 : 嶺南大學校社會館 = Architectural Design Process for Social Building of Yeung Nam University

As the Education Reform on 30th July, 1980,caused the rapid increase in number of students of the Universities, the college of social science was faced with the problem of the expansion of class size and the lack of large sized lecture rooms.
For responding this situation, Yeung Nam University decided to construct Social Building and began to make the Architectural Planning in early september,1980.
This paper is the research report about a series of design process from schemetic design to the detail design for establishing Social Building of Yeung Nam University.
Design is built up from the idea which is achieved through the process of Site Analysis and Space Program.
Space Program of the campus facilities is related the space concept for the activities of the university and their organization.
The basic direction of the design for this social Building is rational function and structure.
The contents of the design is related to the red brick building of which total floor Area is 13,053㎡ including building work and accessory equipment work.
