산림레포츠 프로그램 운영 방안에 관한 연구 : 국립춘천숲체원을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 국립춘천숲체원의 산림레포츠 프로그램을 체험하는 유형별 이용객들의 모니터링을 통하여 산림레포츠 프로그램의 운영 방안의 기초자료를 제공하고, 산림레포츠 이용자에게 맞는 프로그램 운영 방안을 제시하는 것에 목적이 있다. 총 6개 분야 31개의 설문 문항을 통하여 연구대상자의 일반적 특성과 산림레포츠 프로그램에 관한 관심도 및 요구도 등을 조사하였다. 설문은 춘천숲체원의 산림레포츠 프로그램을 체험한 이용객 총 457명을 대상으로 진행하였으며, 총 413부의 유효설문을 바탕으로 연구 분석을 진행하였다.
산림레포츠 프로그램을 경험한 이용객의 특성별 군집을 분석하기 위해 산림레포츠 프로그램 참여자의 ‘연령’, ‘학력’, ‘월 소득’, ‘직업’, ‘결혼 여부’, ‘이동 수단’의 6가지 하위요인을 변인으로 하여 군집분석을 실시하였다. 군집분석은 비계층적 군집분석인 K-평균 분석을 사용하였으며, 군집의 분류 적정성을 평가하여 최종적으로 5개의 유형으로 군집을 분류하였다. 5개 군집의 이용자 유형별 특성을 분석하였으며, 산림레포츠 프로그램의 관심도를 알아보기 위해 ‘용어 인식’, ‘참여 경험’, ‘숲 방문 빈도’, ‘참여목적’ 등의 항목에 대해 교차분석을 시행하였다. 또한 유형별 특징에 따른 산림레포츠 프로그램의 요구도를 알아보기 위해 ‘참여 인원’, ‘참여 대상’, ‘선호하는 활동’, ‘참여 시기’, ‘적정 시간’, ‘적정 비용’, ‘선호 계절’, ‘숲길 길이’, ‘프로그램 장소’, ‘선호 프로그램’ 등의 항목에 대한 교차분석을 시행하였다. 인구통계학적 특성과 산림레포츠 프로그램에 관한 관심도, 요구도에 따른 특성을 종합하여 군집 유형별 특징을 바탕으로 이용객 유형에 따른 시장세분화를 진행하였다. 시장세분화에 따라 산림레포츠 프로그램에 대한 관심도와 요구도를 반영하여 춘천숲체원의 산림레포츠 프로그램에 대한 평가를 시행하였으며, 이에 따른 개선 방안을 제시하였다.
산림레포츠 프로그램은 걷기·트레킹 기반의 프로그램과 암벽등반 체험, 모험시설 체험 등의 프로그램으로 구성되어 제공되고 있지만, 각 연령대에 대한 산림레포츠 프로그램 체험에 대한 선호 유형과 걷기·트레킹 활동에 따른 숲길 길이의 적용 등 프로그램의 개선 대안이 마련되어야 한다. 또한 산림레포츠 프로그램 이용객의 전체적인 만족도 제고를 위해 이용 인원과 참여 대상에 대한 사항을 고려하여 그에 맞는 프로그램을 구성해야 할 필요가 있다.
본 연구는 산림레포츠와 관련된 연구 분야에서 그동안 거의 다루어지지 않은 프로그램의 운영 방안에 관한 연구로서, 프로그램의 개발과 운영에 영향을 미치는 관심도와 요구도 등의 연구를 진행했다는 것에 의의를 찾을 수 있다. 추후 산림복지서비스 분야의 산림교육, 산림치유, 산림문화 등 다양한 산림복지 프로그램의 개발과 보완을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to provide reference materials for the operation of forest sports programs by monitoring each type of user experiencing the forest sports program of the Chuncheon National Center for Forest Activities, and to suggest a program operation plan suitable for consumers. A total of 31 questionnaires were composed in six fields to determine the general characteristics of the study subjects and their degree of interest and demand for the forest sports program. A total of 457 users who experienced the forest sports program at Chuncheon National Center for Forest Activities were surveyed, and the analysis included a total of 413 valid surveys after 44 copies that could not be statistically processed were excluded.
To analyze the clusters by the characteristics of users who have experienced the forest leports program, cluster analysis was conducted with six sub-factors as variables: participants’ age, education, monthly income, occupation, marital status, and means of transportation in the forest leports program, using K-means and non-hierarchical cluster analysis, which yielded five types of clusters. Cross-analysis was conducted on items such as terminology recognition, participation experience, frequency of forest visits, and participation purpose to identify the degree of interest in the forest leports program through characteristic analysis of each type of user of five clusters. In addition, cross-analysis was conducted on items such as “participation number,” “participation target,” “preferred activity,” “participation timing,” “appropriate time,” “appropriate cost,” “forest road length,” “program location,” and “preferred program” to identify the needs of the forest leports program according to the characteristics of each type. Market segmentation by user type was then conducted based on the characteristics of each cluster by synthesizing demographic characteristics, interest in the forest leports program, and demand, and an evaluation of the Chuncheon National Center for Forest Activities forest leports program and improvement measures were proposed, reflecting the interest and demand for the forest leports program by market segmentation.
This study is significant in examining the operation plan of a program that has been rarely covered in research on forest leports, and in investigating the interest and demand regarding the development and operation of the program. It can serve as basic data for the future development and supplementation of various forest welfare programs such as forest education, forest healing, and forest culture in the field of forest welfare services.
