Purpose: We evaluate accuracy of refraction measurement by REKTO ORK II.
Methods: There are no catatact, corneal opacity, and medium opacity visit to our haspital in simple myopia 40 eyes of 20 patients, we divided myopia of more than spherical equvalent 6.0D group1 and less than spherical equvalent 6.0D group2. Cycloplegic refaction measure 3 times using REKTO ORK II (REKTO ORK II, OIS, Korea) and Canon RK5 (RK5, Canon, Japan) with a man of experience, we compared average and average of the absolute of spherical power, cyliderical power and cyliderical axis.
Results: In the group 1, difference of spherical power is 0.07±0.41D, difference of cyliderical power is -0.39±0.63D, cyliderical axis show 3.38±10.60° difference however there was not statistically significant difference. In the group 2, difference of spherical power is 0.11±0.29D, difference of cyliderical power is -0.28±0.49D, cyliderical axis show 0.19±9.28° difference however there was not statistically significant difference.
Conclusions: Spherical power, cyliderical power and cyliderical axis.of REKTO ORK II (REKTO ORK II, OIS, Korea) and Canon RK5 (RK5, Canon, Japan) was not statistically significant difference, accuracy and reproducibility of REKTO ORK II show decided superiority.
