In general, developing culture & content technologies produces lower profits takes longer to realize the profits compared to other common technologies in economic fields. Especially, public organizations should analyze anticipating profits from the thorough investigations to the Culture & content Technologies on the basis of their values affecting economy.
This dissertation regards the profits of the technologies as the indicators of the development of cultural contents. On the profits perspective, this papers survey indicates as follow: (1) technological innovation and the total amount of sales will improve the profits, regardless of the types of the technologies, (2) the profits from the lower level technology such as simple graphic user interface skills will depend on the economic life cycle, financial supports, and its adaptability in addition to technological innovation and the total amount of sales and (3) the profits from the higher level technology such as client-server techniques will depend on the end users contributions, financial supports, and the continual investments.
Based upon this survey, the dissertation suggests that the Department of the Culture and Travel should invest more financial resources to the technologies to develop cultural contents, specially, those of having better adaptability and large amount of sales.
