취업모의 음주행태와 우울이 자녀학대에 미치는 영향 = Mediating Effect of Depression between Alcohol Use Factors and Child Maltreatment with Married Female Employees

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Alcohol abuse of married female employees is the matter of social problems showing the different aspects from the alcohol abuse of general population of women. This problem, however, is the alterable matter if we search out the causes and effect paths. With respect to the purpose of this study, a survey was accomplished on 498 married female employees who inhabit in Seoul and its metropolitan area. Based on this survey data, it was tried to reveal the effective paths between alcohol abuse, depression and child maltreatment in order to provide the rationale for intervention by using SEM.
The results of analysis on coefficient among problem drinking, depression and child maltreatment are as follows. Coefficient from problem drinking to child maltreatment was β=.25***, and cause-effective relation from problem drinking to depression was β=.13**, and coefficient between depression and child maltreatment was revealed as β=.29***. Consequently, the partial mediating effect of depression in this research model was proved and it was statistically verified through Aroian test(z=2.214, p=.027). Based on these findings,
implications of preventive intervention for married female employees were proposed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 취업모의 음주행태와 부적응적 심리상태인 우울이 자녀학대에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기 일원의 위성도시 거주 기혼 직장여성 총 498명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 자료분석은 구조방정식 모형을 통한 경로분석과 우울 변수의 매개효과 검증을 위한 Aroian검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 취업모의 음주행태 실태는 선행 사회조사에서 밝혀진 전체 여성의 음주행태에 비해 상당히 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 또한 연구모형을 분석한 결과 취업모의 음주빈도와 음주량은 음주문제에 영향을 미치고 음주문제는 자녀학대에 직접적 또는 우울을 매개하여 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 취업모의 과도한 음주행태를 조기발견하고 우울감 개선을 위한 실천적 개입의 일환으로 근로자지원프로그램(EAP)의 적용방안을 제안하였다.
