미국의 예술 기업가정신 교육 현황 탐색: 4개의 예술 대학을 중심으로 = An exploratory study of arts entrepreneurship in U.S. higher education: Focused on four arts schools

국문 초록 (Abstract)

취업이라는 경제적 잣대 아래 최근 산업 수요가 낮은 국내 예술 대학들은 존속의 위기를 맞고 있다. 20년 전부터 예술가 역할에서의 변화를 인식하고, 불안정한 졸업생들의 미래에 대한 고민을 시작한 미국은 변화되는 사회에서 학생들이 창의적인 방식으로 예술적 역량을 활용하는 훈련의 필요성을 인식하게 되었고, 이에 예술 기업가정신 교육을 실시하였다. 현재 기업가정신 교육은 미국 예술대학 전반에 확산되어 있으며, 명확한 교육 철학과 함께 학생의 요구에 대응하고 있다. 본고는 미국의 예술 기업가정신 교육의 특징과 커리큘럼 운영 현황을 파악하기 위해 4개의 예술 대학을 사례로 선정해 분석을 수행하였으며, 결과를 토대로 주목할 만한 특징과 시사점을 정리하였다. 본 연구는 아직 예술 기업가정신의 인식 단계에 있는 우리에게 미국의 예술 대학들이 진행하고 있는 예술 기업가정신 교육에 대한 다양하고 꾸준한 노력을 알리고 현실적 예술 교육의 아이디어를 제공할 것이다.
