국내 골프시장 구조변화에 따른 캐디(CADDIE)운영 개선방안의 고찰 : 캐디피의 적정성 및 서비스 수준 인식을 중심으로 = A Study on the Improvement of Caddie Operations in response to the Structural Changes in the Domestic Golf Market: Focusing on the appropriateness of caddie fees and the perceived level of service

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 본 연구는 국내 골프시장의 구조적 변화 속에서 캐디운영 개선을 위해 캐디피 적정성과 서비스품질 인식을 비교 분석하였다. 연구방법 2008년 이후 캐디피 추이를 고용노동부 고시 전체 근로자의 임금 상승률 및 타 업종 근로자의 임금 상승률과 비교하였고, 2025년 3월부터 9월까지 골퍼를 대상으로 모바일 설문조사를 실시하였다. 결과 2025년 적정 캐디피 추정액인 155,347원은 실제 캐디피 150,000원과 근접한 수준으로 나타났으나 제조업 및 건설업 임금 상승률과 비교하면 여전히 낮은 수준에 머물고 있다. 반면 골퍼들은 서비스가 만족스러운 경우 적정 캐디피로 136,000원을 기대하였으며, 팁 포함 시 151,000원으로 나타나 현행 캐디피 수준의 수용 가능한 경우는 서비스품질이 우수할 때에 한정되는 것으로 분석되었다. 결론 본 연구의 결과에 따른 개선방안으로 합리적 캐디피 기준 금액 설정, 캐디 서비스의 전문화 추진, 지속 가능한 캐디운영 모델 구축, 향후 AI 기반 전략 도입을 통한 캐디 인력 부족 문제 해소 등을 대안으로 제시하였다.

Purpose This study comparatively analyzed caddie fee appropriateness and service quality perceptions to improve caddie operations amid structural changes in the Korean golf market. Methods Caddie fee trends since 2008 were compared against wage growth rates published by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and other industries, supplemented by a mobile survey of golfers conducted from March to September 2025. Results The estimated appropriate caddie fee for 2025 (155,347 won) closely aligned with the actual fee(150,000 won), yet remained lower than the wage growth rates in manufacturing and construction. Conversely, golfers expected 136,000 won for satisfactory service, which rose to 151,000 won when including tips, indicating that the current fee level is acceptable only when service quality is excellent. Conclusion To resolve these issues, the study proposes establishing a rational caddie fee baseline, advancing service professionalization, building a sustainable operation model, and introducing AI-based strategies to address caddie workforce shortages as viable alternatives.
