설화 <죽은 처녀 겁탈하고 복 받은 머슴> 속 시간(屍姦)과 발복(發福)의 인과관계에 대한 분석 = A study on the causality between necrophilia and a change in fortune from folklore <A man servant who had sex with a dead virgin>

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is to study the causality between necrophilia and a change in fortune. For achieving this goal, folklore <A man servant who had sex with a dead virgin> was compared with folklore <A man servant who got tied up in a tree>, <An unmarried man who had sex with a leper woman>, <A man who got a government position after sleeping with a beggar woman>, and the film <An oasis>. Those compared folklore and the film have something in common. Each male character tried to satisfy their carnal desire by either unmoral or abnormal relationship. Those male characters had a sexual relationship with women whose physical condition was not normal. After having a relationship with either dead or disable women, the male characters` luck changed for the better. However, in folklore <A man servant who had sex with a dead virgin>, the main character, a man servant didn`t commit necrophilia by his greed. Having a sexual relationship with the dead virgin wasn`t just for the male character, it was also for the dead virgin. After this relationship, fortune turned in favor for the man servant, also fulfilled the dead virgin`s need. The characteristic of ``necrophilia`` in this folklore shows associability and attachment between two isolated characters. That is why this sexual relationship can be read as a successful relationship.
