제7차 교육과정에 의한 『즐거운 생활』 국악 제재곡 분석에 관한 고찰

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리 나라의 교육 과정은 제 7차에 이르기까지 국악 제재곡이 아직도 서양 음악 용어로 표기되고, 오용되어 사용되 고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 현 시점에서 출시된 다수의 논문들은 분석의 결과나 제재곡을 바라보는 관점 등에 많은 이견을 보이고 있고, 국악곡을 서양음악 용어와 관점에서 분석하는 등 또 다른 오류를 계속해서 범하고 있다. 이에 이 논문에서는 장단, 노랫말, 제재곡의 선정 및 제재곡의 분석법에 대한 기존 논문들의 문제점을 살펴보고 이에 대 한 해결방안을 제시하였다. 7차에서 제시된 장단들은 우리나라 장단들의 원형 장단으로 기본이 되는 장단이므로 1, 2학년 이동들에게 확실하게 체득되어야 할 장단이라고 할 수 있으며, 특히 자진모리 장단의 곡은 저학년 아동들의 발달 단계상, 전래동요의 특 징상 이이들에게 가장 적절한 제재곡임을 정확히 이해해야 할 것이다. 또한 그 나라의 음악은 그 나라의 언어와 함께 존재하는 것이며, 언어가 발전하지 않고 음악이 독자적으로 존재할 수는 없기 때문이다. 따라서 그 지역의 노래를 배울 때는 그 지역의 살아 있는 언어로 배우는 것이 가장 바람직한 형 태라고 판단된다. 그리고 전래동요는 국악의 원형적인 형태를 효과적으로 함축하고 있는 노래이다. 각 지역별 특징을 고스란히 간직 하고 있으며, 살아 있는 그 지역의 언어와 그에 따른 음악적 특성을 배울 수 있는, 따라서 교육적으로 가장 질 높은 제재곡이라고 생각한다. 유럽의 식민국가도 아닌 우리나라가 우리의 고유의 악보가 있음에도 불구하고 서양식 악보 기보방법을 고집하고, 이로 인해 여러 가지 음악 해석에 오류를 범하고 있으며, 그러면서도 국악 기 보법의 사용은 거부하는 현실은 시급 히 개선되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 2007 개정 교육과정의 적용에 있어서는 우리음악의 악곡 구조나 특징을 한 눈에 파악할 수 있는 정확한 용어와 기보법으로, 교육적으로 가장 효과적 제재곡언 전래동요를 제대로 교육할 수 있기를 바란다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Korean songs in music textbooks have been improperly transcribed through the use of western musical terms up to the 7th Korean curriculum. As a result, many thesis reflect skewed viewpoints and misunderstandings of Korean songs. The present study examines the problems in existing thesis about the jangdan, lyrics, and the selection and analysis of Korean songs in music textbooks, and recommends solutions to these matters. The jangdan suggested by the 7th curriculum are original and basic in Korean music. These musical contents must be learned and mastered by the first and second grade students. The authors of study suggest that the songs by the jangdan of Jajinmori are the most suitable materials for the first and second grade students when considering aspects of children's developmental stages as well as the characteristics of traditional children's songs. A music of a nation coexists with its language because the music cannot survive without the developments of the language. For this reason, it is desirable that a song from a region is taken by the song's own language. Traditional children's songs effectively portray the original form of Korean music. The regional and musical characteristics and living language of this music, make the songs very useful for teaching Korean music. Even though Korean music has had its own traditional notation, jeongganbo, since colonization, Western notation has been widely used. This notation can cause problems or mistakes regarding the musical analyses. For this reason, this study argues that the usage of jeongganbo leads to a more precise understanding regarding the structures and characteristics of Korean music. In addition, this study advocates that future students should be able to learn Korean music through the notation which properly captures its musical textures and characteristics.
