This study deals with the mode choice modeling for LG Chemistry Cheongju Factory commuters. Its objectives are two-fold; (1) to develop the mode choice models for the commuters of study area using RP data, and (2) to test the applicability of the developed model in terms of the elasticities and value of time. In pursuing the above, this study gives the particular focus on the calibration process of both multinomial and binomial logit (MNL and ENL) model. The main results are the followings. First, MNL. model I using the alternative specific variables and BNL model IV using the common variables are better fit to the given data in terms of ρ2 and hitting ratio. Second, the elasticity of travel cost is higher than that of travel time for auto commuters, and direct elasticity of out-of-vehicle time is higher than that of in-vehicle time for bus commuters. Finally, the values of time for auto commuters are 12,576Wort/hour in the case of out-of-vehicle time and 4,324 Won/hour in the case of in-vehicle time.
