예비교사의 교권 및 교권침해에 관한 인식 연구 = A study on the Perceptions of Pre-service teachers regarding authority and authority infringement

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 예비교사의 교권 및 교권침해에 대한 인식을 파악하여, 교사양성과정에서 교권 교육의 내용과 방향에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는 목적으로 Q방법론을 통해 얻은 교권과 교권침해에 관한 표본을 PQ Method 2.35 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 예비교사는 교권을 추상적으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났고, 교권침해는 미디어를 통해 처음 접했다고 할 만큼 인식이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 한편 교권은 전문성과 도덕성을 기반으로 그 영향력을 발휘하고, 학생 인권과의 조화로운 균형이 필요하며, 교육의 질적 향상을 위해 교권 보호가 법제화를 통해 체계적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다고 인식하고 있었다. 예비교사는 실제 교육 현장을 경험해보지 못하여 교권 및 교권침해에 대한 인식이 현실과 상이할 수 있어 실제 교육 현장에서 교권을 행사하거나 교권침해를 경험했을 때 대처방안을 교육하는 것이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 이에 교원양성과정에서 예비교사에게 교권과 관련된 교육은 교권의 명확한 개념을 인식하고, 교권침해 발생 시 대처할 수 있는 능력을 함양하는 것을 지향해야 하며, 교권과 학생 인권의 조화로운 균형을 통한 인권친화적인 학교문화를 만들어 가기 위해 인권교육의 필요성을 제안하는 바이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to assess the perception of pre-service teachers regarding teachers’ rights and infringement of teachers’ rights. Using the Q-methodology, a sample of opinions on teachers’ rights and infringement of teachers’ rights was obtained and analyzed using the PQ Method 2.35 program. The aim was to provide foundational data for the content and direction of authority education within teacher training programs. The analysis revealed that pre-service teachers tend to perceive teachers’ rights in an abstract manner. Additionally, it was found that their awareness of infringement of teachers’ rights is limited, to the extent that it could be
attributed to their initial exposure to media.
Meanwhile, teachers’ rights are perceived to be exerted based on professionalism and ethics. It is recognized that a harmonious balance with students’ human rights is necessary, and there is a perceived need for the systematic legalization of teachers’ rights protection to enhance the quality of education. Pre-service teachers may have a perception of teachers’ rights and infringement of teachers’ rights that differs from reality due to their lack of experience in actual educational field. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to educate pre-service teachers on how to handle teachers’ rights and infringement of teachers’ rights when experienced in real educational field. Additionally, it is proposed that emphasis should be placed on the importance of human rights education in creating a rights-friendly school culture through a harmonious balance between teaching rights and students human rights.
