청소년 우울 수준을 고려한 교육공간의 바이오필릭 디자인 적용 방안 = Study on the Application of Biophilic Design in Education Space Considering Adolescent Depression Level

The purpose of this study is to find a way to apply biophilic design to the educational space in consideration of the depression level of Korean adolescents. To this end, an image that applies biophilic design to the educational space was produced through prior research and literature review, and based on this, a survey was conducted on the level of depression and preference for design application of adolescents. As a result of the analysis, first, as a result of the survey analysis, all survey subjects showed a relatively high preference consciousness in ‘weather & view’ and ‘water’ among the biophilic experience attributes, so systematization of design techniques in middle and high school spaces is required considering this. Second, in the results of the preference analysis of biophilic design application characteristics, regardless of the level of depression, a high preference average was shown in the vertical elements of the material. In addition, although there was no significant difference in weather & view in the general group and the priority interest group, it is an attribute that should be considered first regardless of the application area. The results of this study are valuable in that it suggested planning factors that should be applied in consideration of the level of depression when applying biophilic design in the near future educational space.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 청소년의 우울 수준을 고려하여 교육공간의 바이오필릭 디자인 적용 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 선행연구 및 문헌고찰을 통해 바이오필릭 디자인 계획 요소를 도출하고, 국내 적용 사례를 파악한 후, Stable-Diffusion을 기반하여 교육공간에 바이오필릭 디자인을 적용한 이미지를 생성하였다. 또한, 이를 바탕으로 청소년의 우울 수준과 바이오필릭 디자인 적용 선호도에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 설문조사 분석 결과, 전체 조사대상자들은 바이오필릭 경험 속성 중 ‘날씨&뷰’와 ‘물’에서 비교적 높은 선호의식을 나타냈으므로 이를 고려한 중·고등학교 공간 내 설계 기법의 체계화가 요구된다.둘째, 바이오필릭 디자인 적용 특성 선호도 분석 결과에서 우울 수준에 상관없이 소재의 수직 요소에서 높은 선호 평균을 나타냈다. 또한 일반군과 우선관심군에서 날씨&뷰는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지는 않았지만 가장 높은 선호 평균을 나타냈으므로, 적용 영역과 상관없이 우선적으로 적용을 고려해야 할 속성이다. 본 연구의 결과는 근미래 교육공간의 바이오필릭 디자인 적용 시, 우울 수준을 고려하여 적용해야 할 계획 요소를 제안했다는 점에서 가치가 있다.
