도시정체성 형성요인 분석에 관한 연구 -춘천시를 중심으로- = A Study on Analyzing City Identity Formation Factors -focused on Chuncheon City-

For the research, city identity formation factors were classified into natural factors of the formation, social and cultural factors of the formation and economic factors of the formation, and the correlation between those factors and the sustainable city development was analyzed. To assess the sustainability of the city comprehensively, the relationship between formation factors and development factors was analyzed through three cities in Gangwon-do for formation factors of city identity. Based on the results, basic data for the direction of the long-term policy on the development of those cities were provided. In this research, opinions collected through surveys on regional identity formation factors and methods for the sustainable city development were analyzed by extracting samples regarding age, job, education of residents in Chuncheon. The results of the analysis on regional identity formation factors were integrated, and the direction of city policy development was studied through analyzing the difference and recognition on the form of the sustainable city. As a result of the research, it was found that city identity for the sustainable city development is different by city according to the degree of recognition on natural environmental, social and cultural and economic formation factors. In case of Chuncheon-si, there are statistically significant factors in all areas such as city development plan and management, development of landscape design for natural environmental development factors, cultural contents development and its capacity for social and cultural development factors and the possibility to develop with financial support and industrialization of urban areas due to economic growth for economic development factors. It was analyzed that the demand for economic development of Chuncheon-city was expressed as various factors of the sustainable city development.
