    Creative Thinking in Real World Situations in Relation to Family Environment of Gifted Children

    Considering the creativity in real world situation, this study was designed to explore the relationships between family environmental variables on creativity of gifted student. Using 51 gifted students, Negative life events(NLE) and the Parenting Behaviour(PB) Questionnaires were measured when the children were middle school years of age; and The Real World Divergent Thinking Tasks were used to assess creativity(C) when the children were in the high school. Using structure equation modelling analyses, the results of this study confirmed that PB is a mediator of the linkage of between NLE and C, stressing for early intervention for impoverished children.

    Considering the creativity in real world situation, this study was designed to explore the relationships between family environmental variables on creativity of gifted student.
