After China and South Korea established diplomatic ties, the Korean majors develops rapidly in China, especially when entering the 21st century. In this context, four education and research centers of Korean -Beijing, the Northeast China, Shandong, Yangtze River Delta- gradually formed, and their discipline constructions have had outstanding rewards. Graduates have a high degree of satisfaction with Korean majors other than employment. By the questionnaire survey of Shandong University, this study finds that graduates’ knowledge cannot meet the needs of the society is the major obstacle for employment. Therefore, the curriculum reform of Korean majors in China is extremely urgent. We need to cultivate Korean talents in accordance with national policy. The mode of “X+ foreign language” will become an important direction for transformation of the Korean major in China. As for the curriculum reform, we claim that the freshmen and sophomores should focus more on basic knowledge of language while the juniors and seniors should pay more attention to professional knowledge, such as the knowledge of economic and trade, linguistics, literature, and cultures, on the basis of six modules of required courses and optional courses. Only by this way, can we reserve high-quality talents for the Belt and Road Initiative, and the China-Korea business trade.
