The content of the parable is first analyzed from the perspective of a management process, which consists of planning, executing, and assessing. Then, lessons regarding the view of money derived from this parable is organized into seven principles of good financial stewardship.
This research is essential in that it discovers the definition of happiness/unhappiness and rich/poor in the parable of the shrewd manager and presents the classification of the happy and rich by combining the two standards; it strengthens the classification system previously proposed in the design of the happy and rich. The financial educational program incorporating the principles presented in this paper is suggested to those wanting to live a more fulfilling life as a good financial steward.
