국문 초록 (Abstract)

라이네케(C. Reinecke, 1824~1910)는 낭만주의시대의 작곡가로써 많은 작품 활동과 더불어 시인, 화가, 행정관 등 다양한 분야에서 활발히 활동한 인물이다. 그가 활동한 낭만시대는 사회적, 경제적으로 산업의 발달을 급진적으로 이룬 시기로 다양한 음악장르와 작곡가 등을 배출하며 음악사의 황금기를 이루었다. 그 중 표제음악은 낭만시대의 대표적 특징 중 하나로 이야기식이나 서술적묘사로 구성되는 음악유형이다.
라이네케의 Flute Sonata op.167 “Undine”는 당시 표제음악의 특징을 잘 보여주는 곡으로 푸케의 소설 “물의 정령 운디네”의 창작동화에서 주제를 착안하여 소설의 내용과 긴밀한 관계를 가진 악장으로 구성되어 있다.
낭만시대의 곡이지만 고전시대의 전형적인 소나타 형식을 따르는 이 곡은 4악장 구성으로 제 1악장은 e단조 소나타형식, 제 2악장 b단조 론도 형식, 제 3악장 G장조 3부분 형식, 제 4악장 e단조 3부분 형식으로 되어있다.
각 악장의 조성은 e단조를 중심으로 딸림조와 나란한조의 관계조로 움직이며, 제 1악장을 제외한 다른 악장에서는 빠르기의 변화가 대조적으로 나타나며 악장별 주제를 뚜렷하게 나타낸다. 대조되는 성부간의 강약사용, 병진행, 반진행, 성부간의 모방, 대화적 기법 등은 주제의 다양한 표현을 유도하며 낭만시대의 음악특징인 표제음악을 대변한다.

C. Reinecke (1824~1910) was a composer in the era of romanticism and produced many pieces of musical work while engaging In a variety of fields like poem, painting, government administration, etc.
The era of romanticism where he belonged saw social and economical development unfold in a fast-paced speed, and was a golden age in music history producing plenty of musical genres and composers. The title music as one of the genres is a kind of musical type where stories or descriptive statements are made.
The Flute Sonata op.167 " Undine " by Reinecke shows the characteristics of the title music of the era deriving its topic from the creative fairy tale of "Water Spirit Undine" by Fouque. So, the musical work is composed of movements that are closely related to the stories of the novel. Though it is a musical work from the era of romanticism, it has the sonata style which flourished in the classical era and has 4 movements ; the first movement has the sonata style of e minor, the second the rondo style of b minor, the third the 3-section style of G major and the fourth the 3-section style of e minor.
Each movement has a connected pair of dominant key and parallel key with e minor playing the main part.
All the movements except the first one show speed changes in a contrasting manner and the topics of the movements are conspicuously shown.
The use of strengths and weaknesses between contrasting vocal parts, parallel progress, semi-progress, Imitations between vocal parts, conversational techniques, etc induce varied expressions of the topic, well describing the title music which characterizes the music of the romantic era.
