This work was to eluciate the effect endogenous auxin on adventitious root formation on Phaseolus angularis L. epicotyl cuttings.
During the experiment on inverted incubation of the epicotyl cuttings, the first stage (0-24hr) showed more inhibitory effect.
ρ-chlorophenoxyisobutyric acid (PCIB) and 2,3,5-triiodobenzoic acid (TIBA) were more effective on the retardation on adventitious root formation, when they were treated at the first stage.
Therefore, the results appeared the fact that endogenous auxin was active at the first stage on adventitious root formation.
