오다 쇼고(小田省吾)의 한국근대사 연구와 식민사학 = Oda Shogo(小田省吾)’s Study of Korean Modern History ― On the focus on Series of korean history(『朝鮮史大系』)

This study is on Oda Shogo’s Colonial Activities in Korea and His Historical Recognition on Korea during the Japanese Colonial Period.
Oda was one of the government service in education and he teached korean history in Gyeongseong Imperial University. He came to korea for an adviser of Educational institution in 1908. Since he had acted over as long period as 37 years, the influence of such Korean history and colonial education, etc.
Especially the book of modern history of late Chosun Dynasty, Series of korean history(『朝鮮史大系』), he distorted historical accounts about korea. He attempted to distort the truth with a logic that can be hardly understood.
This Study pocuses on Oda’s representative writing production, Series of Korean history, So I explain his career briefly refer to prior studies. Oda organized ‘association of Korean History’ and started writing on korean history for justified Japanes Imperialism and invasion, therefor the modern korea history of Oda Shogo, that gave supported japan’s aggressive policy. His representative writing production was the Series of Korean history, and he wrote for Magazine, ≪靑丘學{叢≫, ≪朝鮮≫about colonial education. All his writings were influenced ower perception, and his distortion on korean history were fatal strike for our historical recognition.
Above all, Oda’s historical recognition for korea, effects on Japanese present authorized textbook. It was reproduction on Colonialism History.
