범죄두려움과 자기보호행동의 관계에 관한 위험해석모델의 재검토

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구를 수행하는 과정에서 두 가지의 연구주제를 동시에 다루었다. 연구주제 1은 Ferraro의 위험해석모델에 대한 재검토 과정에서 범죄두려움과 자기보호행동 사이의 선후관계를 확인하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 비재귀적 경로모델을 분석방법으로 선택하였고, 한국형사정책연구원에서 2013년에 수집되어 2014년 공개된 「전국범죄피해조사 2012」의 자료를 활용하였다. 분석결과 범죄두려움과 자기보호행동은 선후관계를 갖기보다 순환적 관계를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 하지만 양자의 시간적 선후관계를 확인하는 것에는 한계가 있었다. 이를 극복하기 위해 연구주제 2에서는 자기보호행동의도를 변수로 하여 위험해석모델을 재검토하였다. 연구결과 위험인식이 범죄두려움에 미치는 영향보다는 자기보호행동의도에 미치는 영향이 더 크다는 점을 확인하였고, 그보다 범죄두려움이 자기보호행동의도에 미치는 영향이 매우 크다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was carried out two studies at the same time. The first research topic was willing to confirm the relationship between fear of crime and self-protective behavior in the review process of Ferraro(1995)’s risk interpretation model. To this end, It was chosen the non-recursive path analysis model. And Korea Institute of Criminology’s “Korea Crime Victimization Survey 2012” data which collected in 2013 were utilized.
The results found that fear of crime and self-protection behavior have a cyclical relationship. However, it is impossible to determine the temporal relationship of the two sequencing. To overcome this limit, second topic was studied. Research topic 2, we analysis the risk interpretation model to a willingness of self-protection behavior as a variable. As a result, risk perception was confirmed that a greater impact on the willingness of self-protection behavior, rather than impact on fear of crime. And the fear of crime impact on the willingness of self-protection behavior was very great.
