인공지능(AI) 창작물의 저작권 인식 연구 : 감성분석과 심층 인터뷰를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

AI 기술이 예술 창작 분야에 빠르게 통합되면서, AI 창작물의 저작권 문제가 점차 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 특히, AI에 의해 생성된 작품의 저작권 소유와 보호의 범위에 대한 법적, 윤리적 논의가 필요한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 AI 창작물에 대한 저작권 인식을 심도 있게 분석하여, 기술 발전이 예술 분야에 미치는 영향을 고려한 새로운 접근을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 연구는 AI 저작권 및 AI 창작물에 대한 텍스트마이닝 감성 분석과 사용자 심층 인터뷰를 통합 적용하였다. 텍스트마이닝에서는 단어 빈도수 분석(TF), 토픽 모델링(LDA), 감성 분석을 포함하며, 이를 통해 AI 창작물에 대한 사용자들의 인식과 저작권 문제에 대한 관심의 정도를 파악하였다. 또한, 심층 인터뷰는 예술 분야 종사자와 일반인을 대상으로 진행하여, AI 기술이 창작 활동에 미치는 영향과 저작권에 대한 다양한 관점을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 사용자들은 AI 창작물의 혁신성과 창의성에 긍정적인 반응을 보이면서도, 기술 발전에 따른 윤리적, 법적 문제에 대해 우려를 나타내었다. 이는 AI 창작물의 저작권 보호와 관련된 법적 규정의 확립과 공정한 사용 지침이 필요함을 시사한다. 또한, 예술가들과 일반인의 차이를 통해 AI 창작물의 사회적 수용성을 높이기 위한 정책적 노력이 요구되는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구에서는 AI 기술과 예술의 접점에서 발생하는 법적, 윤리적 책임을 체계적으로 파악하고, 향후 발생할 수 있는 저작권 문제에 대한 대응 방안을 제시함으로써, 기술 발전을 수용하면서 예술 분야의 지속 가능한 성장을 지원하는데 기여하고 있다. 이러한 연구 결과는 향후 AI 창작물의 저작권 보호와 관련된 정책 제안 및 법적 대응 방안을 모색하는 데 중요한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

AI technology is rapidly integrating into the field of artistic creation, bringing the issue of copyright for AI-generated artworks to the forefront. The need for legal and ethical discussions regarding the ownership and scope of protection for these copyrights is becoming increasingly vital. Therefore, this study aims to deeply analyze the perception of copyrights for AI-generated artworks, exploring new approaches considering the impact of technological advancements on the arts.
This research utilized a combination of text mining sentiment analysis and in-depth user interviews to assess AI copyright and AI-generated artworks. Text mining included term frequency (TF) analysis, topic modeling (LDA), and sentiment analysis, focusing on keywords such as 'copyright,' 'artwork,' 'technology,' and 'intellectual property' to gauge the level of interest and awareness surrounding copyright issues of AI artworks. Additionally, in-depth interviews were conducted with both professionals in the arts and laypeople to gather diverse perspectives on the influence of AI on creative activities and copyright views. The findings revealed that while users exhibit positive reactions to the innovation and creativity of AI artworks, there is significant concern about the ethical and legal issues arising from technological advancements. This underscores the necessity for established legal frameworks and fair usage guidelines for AI artworks. The study also highlighted the need for policy efforts to enhance the social acceptance of AI artworks, noting differences in perceptions between artists and the general public.
This study systematically addresses the legal and ethical responsibilities at the intersection of AI technology and the arts, providing solutions for potential copyright issues that may arise. By doing so, it contributes to fostering sustainable growth in the arts sector while accommodating technological progress. These results will serve as a crucial foundational resource for shaping policy proposals and legal strategies concerning the protection of copyrights in AI-generated artworks.
