관광산업에서의 대졸자 취업을 위한 결정요인에 관한 연구 = In Analysis of the Determinants of Employment of New College Graduates in Tourism Convention Industry

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to figure out the current employment market condition and determine the decisive factors that influence an individual`s success in employment in the field of hospitality and tourism. Literature review and empirical studies were both utilized to conduct the study. As a result, it was found out that out of all the individual`s abilities that influence employment, an individual`s career experience in the hospitality and tourism field had the most impact on employment. It has been also researched that employers prefer individuals who have had work experience through internship. In addition, whether the job seeker owns certificates in the hospitality and tourism field was found to have no significant impact on employment. On the other hand, a job seeker`s various language abilities have been proven to be very crucial. Thus, it has been studied that, in the field of hospitality and tourism, building one`s resume through various work experience through such as internship is more effective than merely acquiring numerous certificates. This research has been based on the hospitality and tourism industry in the city of Busan, and further research on other multiple areas such as in Seoul would be necessary.
