사회과 수준별 교육과정에 따른 교재구성의 과정 : 환경문제를 중심으로 하는 지구촌 학습을 사례로 A case of global study centered on environmental issues = The Process of Text Development based on Differentiated Curriculum in Social Studies

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 수준별 교육과정에 따른 사회과 교재 구성의 과정에서 요구되는 방법적 원리를 검토하고 실제 사례를 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 방법적 원리는 사회과의 성격을 반영하는 교재 구성, 단원계획의 재현으로서 교재 구성의 측면에서 검토하였다. 아울러 제7차 수준별 교육과정의 운영상에서 요구하는 교재 구성의 원리를 검토하였다. 학습자용 주 교재인 '사회' 교과서에는 기본과정의 교재 구성과 심화과정의 활동을 안내하였다. 보조 교재인 '사회과탐구' 교과서에는 심화과정과 보충과정의 교재구성을 제공하였다. 기본과정은 해당 학년의 범위와 계열을 감안하여 필수적으로 학습자가 알고 이해해야 하는 내용을 선정했다. 심화과정은 기본과정에서 제시된 과제가 보다 복잡화되고 추상화된 수준으로 제공되었다. 보충과정은 기본과정의 내용이 보다 더 구조화된 형태로 제공되었다. 교재 구성의 과정에서 그 구성 요소는 수업목표, 문제와 활동, 질문, 자료 및 그래픽 형태들의 측면에서 검토하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to consider the methodological principle of textbook development based on differentiated curriculum in social studies and proposes an example of textbook development. The methodological principle is considered by aspects as follow: 1) the purpose of social studies, 2) the principle of unit plan, 3) the needs of the Differentiated Curriculum.
Textbook for student is divided into mian textbook and assistant textbook. The main textbook provides teaching materials for basic course and guides enrichment course. The assistant textbook provides teaching materials for supplement and enrichment course.
The level of basic course is founded on scope and sequence of the each grade. The tasks in enrichment course are more complex and abstract than those in basic course. In supplement course, tasks are more structured than those in basic course.
The components of each texbook are instructional objects, problems and activities, questions, resources and graphic forms. Instructional objects are derived from key ideas or issues and related to facts. Identifyng these components of textbook is the process of the specification of curriculum, which plays an important part in the implementation of Differentiated Curriculum.
