      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      Every corporation or organization has the peculiar culture according to its own social role and function. This culture is called organizational or corporate culture. And the core elements of this culture are the shared values. The shared values set a general pattern for the organization activities and actions of members of the organization. And this values which must be shared with all members of the organization, and with its clients. Therefore this values are called the shared values.
      The paper is to study the general role of the shared values of organizational or corporate culture, and to review the background of ROK Army's military culture and propose the rebuilding program of its culture in coming era.
      The shared values of Korea Army's military culture has been enfluenced by the Japanese military culture of imperial age. Because of this enfluence even today there are many anti-democratic, anti-mordernistic, and anti-humanistic elements in ROK Army's military culture.
      Therefore the core values of ROK Army's military culcure in coming era should be rebuilt so as to shared with the basic values of the nation and society.
      Finally, I would like to propose Democracy, Humanism, Rationalism, Pragmatism, and Autonomism as the shared values of ROK Army's military culcure in 21 century.
