      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Despite the increasing complexity and dynamism of modern society, the inner world of modern people is becoming increasingly simplistic and devoid of vitality. The author contends that the root cause and solution to this issue lies within the mind itself, proposing a humanistic model of mindful practice. This model is characterized as humanistic due to its utilization of philosophical thinking techniques and strategies. Philosophical activity, in its essence, is a relentless pursuit of comprehensive thinking. Philosophy achieves this by transcending the limitations of the ordinary ego-centered mind in various ways. The strategies employed in this process encompass reflection, inference, thought reversal, thesis-antithesis-synthesis, thesis-antithesis-difference dialectic, convergent systematization, divergent systematization, and strengthening and weakening/dismantling of mind systems. This new model, composed of an organic arrangement of these strategies, can empower individuals to expand their mental horizons, fostering greater understanding and compassion towards themselves, others, and the world at large. In the author's view, it holds the potential to catalyze a mind revolution in the era of 21st-century spirituality.
