국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 최근 하나의 두뇌기반 교수-학습전략으로 부상되고 있는 두뇌체조가 일반학생은 물론 발달장애학생을 위한 교수-학습전략으로서 유용하게 활용될 수 있다고 보고, 특수학교 장면에서 두뇌체조가 발달장애학생을 위한 교수-학습전략으로서 어떻게 적용가능한가를 모색해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 먼저 두뇌체조와 뇌기능과의 관계를 살펴본 다음, 두뇌체조에는 어떤 동작이 있으며 동작별로 어떤 효과가 있는가를 알아보고, 끝으로 발달장애학생을 위한 하나의 교수-학습전략으로 두뇌체조를 어떻게 적용할 수 있는지를 제시하였다. 본 논문을 통해 두뇌체조는 발달장애학생들에게 발달과 학습을 위한 새로운 통로를 열어주고 있으며, 그들의 독특한 요구를 충족시키면서 교육과정을 추구하기 위한 효과적인 하나의 교육적 도구요 교수-학습전략이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 그러므로 두뇌체조를 특수학교에서 발달장애학생들을 위한 교육과정과 접목을 시도하고, 두뇌체조를 적용하여 발달장애학생들의 지적 능력, 정의적 특성 및 운동기능에 미치는 효과를 양적 및 질적으로 규명해보는 다양한 연구가 후속되어야 할 것이다.
