      This study was processed to comprehend the pixel of a camera through comparative study of the printing resolution classified by the camera pixel, and to show the quality of Ink-jet printer by decipher comparison experiments through the objective naked eye. The purpose of this study is to give tips to digital camera users on how to choose the right camera and how to print photos taken by it. Moreover, the study also ascertains the characteristic of digital cameras. As a result of the experiment, Leica Digital Module R, which has a wide scope of color reappearance, was excellent in overall color reappearance range. On the score of the noise problem under a low light source, Nikon D3 showed the best performance. Though Canon 5D was fairly good in general, the saturation section was relatively inferior than other types of camera. In the print paper case, Glacier was excellent in the reappearance of images, but was in lack of the shadow detail section. Through the process of the study it showed that although glossy paper is used widely to print digital photos, the detail reappearance ability is insufficient. Despite the fact that glossy paper is highly preferred in printing, selecting print papers should be done more cautiously from now on. While the overall brightness of matte print paper was low, the reappearance ability of shadow detail was better than glossy paper. In conclusion, the digital cameras with deep bit depth showed excellence in color reappearance ability, and the matte print paper was better in shadow detail reappearance compared to glossy paper. However, glossy paper resulted better in highlighting. In case of printers, the gelatin silver print was far better in quality than the Ink-jet printer. The study shows that the color of the ink used in the Ink-jet printer had a great effect on the quality of printing. Moreover it`s rich color expression and the reappearance ability of shadow detail is not inferior to gelatin silver print.
