SummaryThe objective of this study is to analyze the economic feasibility of investment of
greenhouse mandarine in Cheju Island.In order to analyze the effects of alternative policy scenarios on the greenhouse
mandarine industry in Cheju Island, simulation runs were experimented with different
scenarios for the profitability of greenhouse, interest rate, and endurance term, etc.In general, under current profitability condition, Scenario I except the case of interest
rate 20% shows economically feasible. But, another scenarios, which assumed the
profitability decreasing by 1%, 2%, 3% respectively, revealed that almost cases were
economically infeasible.
