니클라스 루만의 체계이론적 세계사회 분석 = 소통으로서의 사회적인 것과 소통의 총체로서의 사회

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 ‘사회적인 것(the social)’을 소통으로 보고 사회를 그러한 소통들의 총체로 파악하는 방법론에 기초한 니클라스 루만의 체계이론적 세계사회 분석을 재구성한다. 루만의 자기생산체계는 구별 작동을 통해, 환경/경계/체계를 생산하는 작동들의 이어짐이다. 이 개념은 두 가지의 미체계, 즉 심리적 차원에서의 행위 층위의 의미연관(심리적체계)과 사회적 차원에서의 행동기대 층위의 의미 연관(사회적 체계)의 분리를 가능하게 한다. 소통으로 이어지는 사회적 체계는 사회적인 것의 파악을 가능하게 한다. 사회적 체계는 참여 소통으로서의 상호작용체계, 결정 소통으로서의 조직체계, 소통의 총체로서의 사회(societal) 체계의 하위유형으로 분류되며, 이 셋의 발전과 진화 및 경합 이사회의 역사를 구성한다. 근대사회는 계층적으로 분화된 복수의 지역사회들이 기능적으로 분화된 하나의 세계사회로 재구조화되는 과정에 있다. 근대사회는 한편으로는 지불/비지불 소통의 경제체계, 권력 위임 소통의 정치체계, 진리/비진리 소통의 과학체계, 사랑/사랑 아님 소통의 친밀체계, 미/추 소통의 예술체계, 능력중개의 선한 의도를 자처하는 교육체계 등으로 분화되었으며, 다른 한 편으로는 결정소통으로서의 조직 소통의 약진이라는 특징을 보여준다. 이 체계들은 사회의 문제 해결 기능을 수행하였지만, 새로운 문제들을 낳는다. 이 글은 몇 가지 기능체계들과 조직체계들이 만들어내는 문제들을 보여주고, 이 문제들의 해결을 위해 해당 성찰이론들의 접근 방법을 분석한다. 마지막으로 사회 전체를 대상 영역으로 확장할 것을 사회학에 제안한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper discusses the analysis of Luhmann"s world society on terms of the social as communication and the society as communications on the whole. Luhmann"s autopoietic systems are successions of operations producing environment/boundary/system through operations of distinction. Based on this concept we can divide into two kinds of meaning systems, i.e. meaning linkage on the level of action in psychological dimension(psychic systems) and meaning linkage on the level of action expectation in social dimension(social systems). Social systems in dependence of communications enables to seize "the social", can be classified in interaction systems as participated communications, organizational systems as communications of decisions, the societal systems as communications in the whole. The developments, evolutions, and contentions of this three construct the history of society. The modern society finds itself in the process of restructuring of hierarchically differentiated regional societies into a functionally differentiated world society. It is differentiated into the economic systems of paying/not-paying communications, the political systems of power delegation communications, the scientific systems of truth/untruth communications, the intim systems of love/not-love etc. on the one side, and shows an rapid widespread of organizational systems on the other side. All these Systems perform the problem solving function of the society, but cause another problems. This paper shows some problems of several functional systems and organizational systems, and analyzes legitimate approaches of the matching theory of reflection to solve these problems. Finally we proposes the sociology to expand its scope into the whole society.
