예술의 교육적 가치로서의 사유: 카시러의 미적 형식에 대한 주목으로부터 = Thought as an Educational Values of Arts: From Cassirer`s Concept of Aesthetic Form

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There has been a strong tendency toward phenomenology and neurophysiology that are focused on sensations and perceptions, as disciplinary basis for arts education these days. This paper starts with some suspicion about this tendency, while being basically sympathetic with it. For it seems not sufficient to show the educational values of arts. This paper rather assumes that the full educational significance of arts can be completed by Immanuel Kant`s aesthetic idea of form. Therefore this paper aims to show one way of making this assumption be the case by reconstructing neo-Kantian Ernst Cassirer`s reinterpretation of Kant`s idea of form. To do so, this paper examines mainly how Cassirer`s interpretation of Kant`s aesthetic idea of form can show the full educational significances of arts without really hurting the perceptional and emotional virtues of arts for education. And it concludes that the aesthetic form is a mental ability to construct a purposive object without purpose through the thinking process unique to arts, which can be essential to deep emotional experiences within arts.
