국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지역 사회문제에 기부 가능성이 높은 잠재기부자의 특성을 파악하기 위한 목적으로, 국내 사회문제, 국제 문제, 그리고 개인적인 연고지의 기부 대상과 비교 분석을 수행하였다. 이들 기부 대상별 기부자의 특성 파악을 위한 설명변수로 잠재기부자의 거주지특성(지역 복지수요)과 사회자본의 구성 변수인 네트워크 참여도와 신뢰도를 이용하였고, 네트워크 참여도와 신뢰도간의 상호작용 항을 추가하여 분석하였다. 실증 분석을 위해 1차 서울시복지패널과 서울시 통계데이터를 이용하여 다항로지스틱회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과 지역 사회에 기부 가능성이 높은 사람들은 상대적으로 거주지의 복지수요가 크고 지역의 복지시설신뢰도가 높았으며 교육수준이 낮고, 특히 국제 사회문제의 잠재기부자보다 고연령, 저소득자인 경우가 많았다. 향후 연구 결과의 일반화를 위해 다양한 설명변수의 투입과 대상 지역을 확대하여 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

This study examined the differences in characteristics of potential donors among giving causes: local community issues, private bonding community issues, domestic social issues, international social issues, focusing on potential donors of the local community issues.
I used regional characteristics, level of participation in formal and informal networks, and trust of government/charity/welfare facility as explanatory variables, adding the interaction of level of network participation and trust. The 1st Seoul Welfare Panel and Seoul statistical data were used for data, and multinomial logistic regression analysis was performed.
The result showed that the giving possibility to local community issues had increased relatively higher demand for local welfare services(informal networks) and trust of welfare facility. Characteristics of potential donors in local community issues are relatively low education levels and they are older and lower income than potential donors in the international social issues.
Future study should be included various explanatory variables, and one study with other areas should be performed for generalization the research model.
