구체적 조작기 아동에게서 관찰되는 변증법의 기본 형식과 인식론적 의미

국문 초록 (Abstract)

논자는 본 논문에서 쟝 피아제의 발생학적 인식론의 관점에서 구체적 조작기 아동에게서 발견할 수 있는 변증법의 8가지 형식을 특성화하려고 시도했다. 이러한 8가지 형식은 행동적 차원의 인지 운동에서 발견할 수 있는 변증법의 기본 형식이며 따라서 나중의 언어적 상징적 지평에서 수행되는 변증법적 사유의 기본 토대에 상응할 것이다. 다른 한편으로 논자는 인식론적 관점에서 변증법의 의미를 구체적으로 들어내기 위해서 이러한 변증법의 8가지 형식들에 공통된 특성을 다음과 같이 도출하려고 시도했다. 첫 번째 특성은 모든 변증법적 국면에는 두 체계들 (A와 B) 사이에 그 때까지는 성립되지 않았던 “상호의존성”이 구성된다는 점이다. 그런데 여기서 문제의 두 체계는, 헤겔이 공식화하듯이, 그들 사이에 반드시 “대립성” 내지는 “상반성”이 문제시되는 것이 아니라, 단순히 서로 무관심적이거나 낯선 체계들일 수도 있다는 것이다. 두 번째의 특성은 모든 변증법적 국면에는 “주관”과 “대상”의 상호 확장이 있다는 것이다. 즉 그 자체 고정된 대상도 처음부터 완성된 주관도 없다는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 세 번째 공통된 특성은 모든 변증법적 국면에는 “추월”(dépassement)이 있다는 것이다. 즉 기존의 한 체계(T1)에 고유한 결핍들을 해결하기 위한 조작적 운동들은 새로운 전체성 (T2)을 구성하는 데로 나아가게 되는데, 이렇게 될 때 선행하는 전체성(T1)은 나중의 새로운 전체성 (T2)의 “하위 체계”로 보존된다. 네 번째의 공통된 특성은 모든 변증법적 국면에는 “순환성” 혹은 “나선 운동적 상승”의 개입이 있다는 것이다. 다섯 번째로, 모든 변증법적 운동은 상대화를 이끈다는 것이다. 모든 변증법적 국면들에 공통된 이러한 다섯 종류의 변증법적 속성들은 이제 마지막으로 여섯 번째 특성을 말할 수 있게 하는 바, 그것은 ‘변증법은 균형화의 추론적 양상’을 구성한다는 것이다. 이 마지막 특성은 피아제가 말하는 변증법의 일반 정의이다. 이러한 특성들은 종래의 사변적인 철학자들이 내성법에 의해 특성화한 것과는 달리, 과학적 입장에서 구체적으로 관찰된 것들이라는 점에서, 변증법의 진정한 의미를 새롭게 이해하게 하는 계기를 제공할 것이라고 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

According to Piaget, there is a dialectics when two systems considered as until now independent, enter into interrelation and are integrated into "a new totality of which the properties surpass the two former systems." The way of establishing the interrelations and integrations presents the fundamental characteristics coming : a) The concepts and notions intrinsic to under-systems of which the new totality will be constructed pass by a process of relativisation. b) the construction of new totality(or structure) implies certain circular process(or more precisely, a spiral trajectory) in the sens that it necessitates the retroactive rectification which makes the former forms of the concerned system rich. The analysis of Piaget lead us to an other affirmation which can be considered as the most important result of his genetical epistemology. The properties of all dialectics resume are summarized into an other property of which can provide the general signification : "the dialectic constructs the inferential aspect of all equilibration." It means that the dialectic don’t intervene at all stages of cognitive development but only in course of process of equilibration. We therefore have to distinct carefully between the state of equilibrium which is correspondent to a non-dialectical moment of the evolution and the dialectical process which permits the construction of new conceptual cadre. This study will give us better understanding on certain mechanisms of action in the process of cognition. Finally, we could understand that there is continuity and identity in nature of process of cognitive development from the child to the scientific man.
