This paper investigated the stepwise effects of creative home environment. parent-adolescent communication. achievement goal motivation. self-regulation motivation and self-efficacy on creative personality of Korean high school students. For the performance of this study 1,514 students were selected from 1 st and 2nd graders of hight schools of 6 small and mid-sized cities and 4 metropolitan cities depending on gender. types of schools and sizes of cities. To analyze the collected data. correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis methods were employed. The results of the statistical analyses were as follows: the comparative influences of explanatory variables on the creative personality are in the sequence of general self-efficacy, creative home environment, self-determination motivation. achievement goal motivation, and the regional factor of social-economic status variables. The total explanation power of the study model turned out to be 36.8%. Thus. it is proposed that anyone who have an intention to develop programs to improve creative personality for high school students are asked to consider the fact that the most critical predicting variable on creative personality is the general self-efficacy.
