세계화교육- 비판적 성찰과 새로운 가능성 탐구를 향한 시론적 연구 = Global Education: An Introductory Study toward Critical Reflection and New Possibility

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper, starting from the issue about how pedagogy responds toglobalization, explores the following three issues and their implication for theglobal education: First, the mode of the dialectical movement in the relationamong the formation and development of ‘burgerliche Gesellschaft’; secondly,situations of non-european areas under the unequally structured world; lastly,problems of difference including those of social unequality. The focus of theexploration is laid on the self-understanding texts of Koneffke, Jouhy, Dias,Gutierrez Rodriguez and Messerschmidt. Based on this exploration, this paperwill show that the meaning, limit and possibility of the global education could befound not only in the cognition of the conflicting aspects immanent to thatthing called globalization, but also in the contextual understanding of eachsituation caused by the globalization. In other words, critical globalizationeducation requires to problematize its own contradictory position in theglobalization process itself, critically grasp the meaning of values and actionsinherent in the sociohistorically conditioned structure and consider variouscontexts which have affect on the life and social position of women.
