전문대학생의 학과적응 증진을 위한 멘토링 프로그램 효과 = The effect of mentoring program for increasing of major adjustment in college students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of mentoring program for increasing of major adjustment in college students. The subjects were 54 college students in grade 1 who had randomly assigned to an experimental(mentee) group(34) and a control group(20). To obtain the data, major adjustment test, social support, emotional dimension, cognitive ability questionaries were used. To analyze data, ANCOVA, MANOVA, t-test were executed.
The results were as follows. First, mentoring program affected significantly on improvement of experimental group's major satisfaction and career identity. Second, every sessions of contents in mentoring program affected significantly on improvement of experimental group's social support, emotional dimension, and cognitive ability. Third, the improvement of experimental group was maintained. Therefore mentoring program for increasing of major adjustment in college students can be presented by alternative course of college curriculum.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 전문대학에서는 학생들의 학과적응(학과만족, 진로정체감)을 돕기 위해 다양한 유인체제를 개발하여 적용하고 있지만 큰 실효를 얻지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전문대학생들의 학과적응을 돕기 위한 목적으로 멘토링 프로그램을 구성하고 그 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 전문대학 1학년생 중 학과부적응을 보이는 학생들을 무선으로 실험집단에 34명, 통제집단에 20명으로 배치하였다. 본 연구의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 공변량분석, 다변량분석, t-검증을 실시하였다. 멘토링 프로그램의 전반적인 효과를 알아본 결과, 학과만족과 진로정체감에서 실험집단이 통제집단 보다 유의한 향상을 보였다. 멘토링 프로그램의 내용 전개별 효과를 알아본 결과, 1회기에서 4회기까지의 사회적 지지, 5회기에서 8회기까지의 정의적 차원, 9회기에서 12회기까지의 인지적 능력에서 실험집단이 통제집단 보다 유의한 향상을 보였다. 멘토링 프로그램의 시간 추이별 효과를 알아본 결과, 학과만족과 진로정체감에서 사후검사점수가 사전검사점수 보다 높게 나타났고, 지연검사점수 역시 사전검사점수 보다 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 멘토링 프로그램이 전문대학생의 학과적응 증진에 효과가 있었으며 또한 그 효과가 지속되고 있음을 알 수 있다.
