현대신학에 대한 비판적 연대 = 칼 바르트의 복음주의 신학을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 현대신학에 대한 비판적 고찰을 을 위해 현대신학의 두 흐름을 자유주의 신학과 복음주의 신학이라는 입장에 시작한다. 우선 현대신학의 배경과 특징으로 램의 글에 기초하여 계몽주의가 현대신학에 미친 영향을 개괄한다. 그 영향의 연장에서 계몽주의적 자유주의 신학으로 인간의 종교적 경험과 감정에서 시작하는 쉴라이에르마허를 다룬다.
그런 다음 종교개혁 전통을 따르는 개신교의 정신을 계승 발전하기 위해 칼 바르트의 복음주의 신학을 바르트의 성서 이해와 예정 이해를 통해 논증한다. 그리하여 하느님의 말씀의 권위를 찾는 동시에 실존적 의미를 담아내는 바르트의 복음주의 신학을 현대신학의 나아갈 방향으로 제시한다. 이러한 바르트의 신학은 정통주의 신학이 주장하는 성서중심의 신학을 수용하지만 자유주의 신학을 신학적 적용을 위해 현실성의 개념을 받아드리고 있다는 점에서 비판적 연대를 하고 있다. 이러한 신학적 관점은 성서와 세계를 함께 논의하도록 하는 신학적 전망을 주고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This is an attempt to reach a true understanding of the modern theology prescribed in the “protestantism theology” of Karl Barth. Modern society, which can be characterized in terms of the “Enlightenment”, pursues freedom in both culture and religion. Some evangelical Christians say Modern Theology can’t be asserted as a true religion or worthy system, because people accept their godly experiences as the truth of the gospel without verification. Here I try to present the “Theology of the Word of God” as the Modern Theology in modern society.
Barth’s theology is related to humans dealing with God’s revelation in a way where we may understand the way, truth, life and love that Jesus shows us. In theology, the relationship between God and the human or gospel and culture, is a delicate issue. The Christian message always expresses the truth in a dialectical and hermeneutic manner. The “protestantism theology” of Barth leads us to read the Bible as the word of God, which consists of three parts: 1)The proclaimed word of God, 2) The written word of God, and 3) The revealed word of God.
In this respect Barth’s “protestantism theology” accepts and criticizes both the Orthodox Theology in the seventeenth century and on Liberal Theology in the nineteenth century. In regards to the Orthodox Theology he accepts the objectivity of the Bible but criticizes its objectivism. For Liberal Theology he accepts subjectivity but at the same time criticizes its subjectivism. In other words, Barth criticizes biblicism as it only accepts the Bible as the true word of God, while he criticizes culture-protestantism accepting the subjectivity of the Holy Spirit. For Barth Jesus is the objective reality and possibility of revelation, while the Holy Spirit is the subjective reality and also possibility of revelation. Therefore, I am certain Barth’s “protestantism theology” is still a viable meaning of understanding as the object-subject truth in our times.
