부모의 양육행동과 청소년의 리더십 생활기술과의 관계 = Relationships between parenting behavior and leadership life skills of adolescents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 부모의 양육행동과 청소년의 리더십 생활기술과의 관련성을 밝히는 것이다. 부산광역시에 소재하고 있는 T 중학교 3학년 310명이 본 연구에 참여하였고, 이 중 286명(남학생, 146; 여학생, 140)의 자료를 분석하였다. 리더십 생활기술은 외국의 자료를 참고하여 최창욱(2001)이 우리나라 실정에 맞게 재구성한 것을 토대로 김선경(2002)이 개발한 리더십 생활기술척도를 사용하여 측정하였고, 부모의 양육행동은 허묘연(2000)이 개발한 부모양육 행동 척도를 사용하여 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 남녀로 구분하여 상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다.
분석 결과 부모의 양육행동과 중학생 자녀의 리더십 생활기술간에는 유의미한 상관이 있었으며, 예외가 있기는 하지만 거의 모든 리더십 생활기술에서 가장 설명력이 있는 부모의 양육행동은 ‘애정’이었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 전체적으로 볼 때 커뮤니케이션 기술에 대한 애정적 양육행동을 제외하고는 청소년 자녀의 리더십 생활기술에 대한 부모의 양육행동의 영향력은 크지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과가 청소년 지도 및 교육에 주는 시사점에 대해 논의였고, 본 연구의 제한점을 지적하였으며 마지막으로 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between parenting behavior and leadership life skills of middle school students. To obtain this purpose, two research questions were established. First, what is the relationship between parenting behavior and leadership life skills of middle school students. Second, what influence does parenting behavior have on leadership life skills of middle school students?
Three hundred and ten middle school students participated in this study. Although 310 questionnaires were distributed to students and collected. Because of incomplete or dishonest answers, two hundred eighty six questionnaires were used for statistical analysis by excluding 24 questionnaires. Self-reported measures used in this study. Leadership life skills were measured using Leadership Life Skills Measurement developed by Choi and reconstructed by Park, Parenting behaviors were measured using Parental Rearing Behavior Measurement developed by Heo.
Collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the significant relationships exist between parenting behaviors and leadership life skills of middle school students and "affection" was the most influential parenting behavior that explains leadership life skills with some exceptions. Nevertheless, generally speaking, the influence of parenting behavior on leadership life skills was not big with the exception of affectionate rearing behavior to communication skills. The implications of this study on guidance and education of adolescents were discussed, the limitations of this study were commented, and finally suggestions for future research were made.
