The purpose of this study is to analyse Korean musical elements of children`s songs which are utilized in the kindergarten regarded as Korean traditional children`s song by teachers. Korean musical tradition has not been completely preserved due to our unfortunate history; colonized by Japan. It is as same in traditional children`s songs. The six popular children`s songs utilizing as traditional songs(`Small child, small child!`, `Hay! toad, toad!`. `Hi! fox`, `Gate game song`, `Song of figure`, `Why do you come to me?`) were analyzed by scale and tonality, range, meter, rhythm and termination style. The 5 songs except `Gate game song`, partially regarded as not to have traditional music elements. `Why do you come to me?` were different from Korean traditional music style in scale, tonality, meter, rhythm and termination style.
