3-5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 나타난 유아 동작교육 내용 분석 = An analysis on movement education contents for young children in the teacher's manual of Nuri Curriculum for 3-5-year-olds

This study analyzes movement activities related to basic sector and application sector in the range of young children's movement education contents at a time when kindergartens and day care centers commonly fulfilled the Nuri Curriculum for 3-to 5-year-olds. The study’s objective is to check the current movement education for young children in our country and utilize the findings as a reference for the future revising of the Nuri Curriculum. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has published 11 volumes containing 2,118 activities for the Nuri Curriculum. Of these, this study selected a total of 318 activities from five activity forms related to movement activity, such as music, melody, outside_(play), body, game, and so forth. Standards of analysis were divided into a basic sector and application sector. The former was fundamental movement and perceptual motor; the later was divided into physical expression(imitative, creative), game(tool application, bare hands), dance(imitative, creative), gymnastics(tool application, bare hands). The results of the analysis are as follows. First, most of the movement activities were ‘life tool’ as subject in life, in body and game as activity form, for 4-year-olds. Second, fundamental movement were analyzed by content ranges. The manipulative movement was found to be shown most. And, for each content, there was the highest distribution of bending․stretching in non-locomotor movement, walking in locomotor movement and throwing in manipulative movement. Third, perceptual motor was analyzed by contents, with spatial awareness showed the highest rate. The fourth application sector was analyzed by content ranges, with game showing the highest distribution followed by physical expression.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 3-5세 누리과정이 유치원과 어린이집에서 공통으로 실시되고 있는 현 시점에서 유아동작교육의 내용범주에 해당하는 기초영역과 응용영역관련 동작활동들을 분석하여, 현재 우리나라의 유아동작교육을 점검해 볼 수 있는 계기로 삼고 향후 누리과정의 개정 시 참고 자료로 활용될 수 있도록 하고자 한다. 분석대상으로는 교육과학기술부가 발행한 3-5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서 1~11권에 수록된 총 2,118개의 활동 중 동작활동과 관련이 있는 음악, 음률, 바깥(놀이), 신체, 게임 등 5개 활동유형 총 316개의 활동을 선정하였다. 분석 기준은 기초영역과 응용영역으로 구분하고, 전자는 기본동작(이동, 비이동, 조작)과 지각운동(신체, 시간, 방향, 공간 무게-힘-)으로 후자는 신체표현(모방적, 창의적), 게임(도구활용, 맨손), 율동(모방적, 창의적), 체조(도구활용, 맨손)로 다시 나누었다. 분석결과, 첫째, 동작교육 활동을 생활주제별로 분석한 결과, ‘생활도구’에서 가장 많은 동작활동이 나타났으며, 활동유형에서는 신체와 게임이, 연령에서는 4세에서 가장 높은 비율을 보였다. 둘째, 기본동작을 내용별로 분석한 결과, 조작동작이 가장 많이 나타났으며, 구체적으로는 비이동동작에서 구부리기․펴기, 이동동작에서 걷기, 조작동작에서 던지기가 가장 높은 분포를 나타내었다. 셋째, 지각운동을 내용별로 분석한 결과, 공간지각이 가장 높은 비율을 보였다. 넷째, 응용영역을 내용별로 분석한 결과, 게임이 가장 높은 분포를 보였고, 신체표현이 그 뒤를 이었다.
