청각장애 아동과 건청 아동의 어두파열음 VOT 지각 비교

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of stop-consonants in initial position by children with hearing impairment was different from that of peer normal children. For this purpose, the perceptional experiment of vocal types of the stops in condition of bilabial, alveolar and velar was performed. Participants were classified into two groups, 11 with children with hearing impairment, 7 with normal children for this study.
  Research question are as follows :
  the author focused on the perception according to VOT modulation of stop consonants by the children with hearing impairment, normal children.
  1) Is there any difference in the perception of the stop phonation types among groups?
  2) Is there any difference in the perception of the categorical perception among groups?
  Children with hearing impairment showed similar responses pattern with that of the normal children, but it was not stable. Also, children with hearing impairment showed inconsistent response pattern in triple confrontational perception compared with normal children.
  In summary, children with hearing impairment showed similar perceptual pattern to that of the normal children but their response pattern was rather unstable.
